Bimplus is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support live and upcoming construction projects across the North West, spanning residential and commercial developments.

The role is temporary with an immediate start. Duties include setting out, surveys, QA, health & safety, and progress reporting. Collaboration with site managers and subcontractors is essential for success across multiple schemes.

A well-established regional building contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support a number of live and upcoming construction projects across the North West. Operating across both residential and commercial sectors, the company delivers high-quality developments ranging from new build housing schemes to bespoke clubhouse and community facilities.

Your new role

Due to an increase in workload, an opportunity has arisen for a Freelance Site Engineer to join the team on a temporary basis. Projects may include new build residential developments and the construction of new clubhouse facilities.

Your duties will include:

• Setting out for all aspects of the build programme
• Providing accurate surveys and measurements on site
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications
• Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors
• Maintaining site records and QA documentation
• Supporting health & safety compliance across the project
• Assisting with progress reporting and as-built information

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the construction industry
• Strong setting out experience on new build projects
• Proficient with robotic total stations and surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• CSCS Card essentialFull UK driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
