Magnopus is seeking a Senior Technical Artist with deep Unreal Engine expertise to join our UK team on a freelance, 3-month project. You will collaborate closely with the art and creative teams to deliver high-fidelity real-time scenes, optimise performance and expand content pipelines.

You will focus on material creation, profiling and optimization, PCG-driven workflows and tooling to balance visual quality with real-time targets. Prior experience in games or immersive media is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior 3D Technical Artist with proven Unreal Engine experience.
• Strong focus on material creation, profiling and optimization.
• Experience with real-time performance targets and PCG workflows.

Responsabilités

• Help develop and optimise real-time environments and assets from content to polished scenes.
• Provide technical guidance within Unreal Engine to the art team and troubleshoot performance challenges.
• Profile 3D content, materials and environments to meet real-time metrics.
• Create and optimise materials in Unreal Engine balancing visual quality and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve art/content pipelines for team efficiency.
• Build and work with Unreal PCG graphs to support procedural workflows.
