Run Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a 3-4 month freelance contract on a major highways project. The scheme is in its final stages, covering finishing works, surfacing, and street furniture before a full opening later this year.

You'll join an established team and be brought up to speed quickly on their systems, processes and NEC contract requirements, providing commercial support to engineering staff until project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Record costs, change and variation with project team.
• Minimise cost and risk while enhancing value for money.
• Provide commercial support to engineering staff.
• Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract.
• Raise early warning notices and compensation events.
• Forecasting and CVRs.
