Job summary

hihouse is seeking a Property Inventory Specialist (freelance) to perform property inventory reports (check-ins, check-outs and midterm inspections) at Leatherhead (KT22). You will verify appliance operation, collect meter readings and test items using our bespoke software.

This self-employed role requires a flexible schedule (including most Saturdays and public holidays), a minimum of three days per week, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Self-employed with flexible schedule including Saturdays and public holidays.
• Commit to minimum of 3 days per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with smartphones/tablets and digital tools.
• DBS check completed within last 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform property inventory reports (inspections) with attention to defects.
• Review appliances, collect meter readings, test functionality of items.
• Escalate maintenance and cleanliness concerns to support decisions.
• Be a trustworthy contact for team and customers to handle enquiries.
• Deliver inspections at Leatherhead site; travel as needed.
• Maintain standards and follow guidance.
• Demonstrate diplomatic, problem-solving and resourceful attitude.
