Learning Curve Group are seeking a Freelance Level 2 Hospitality Tutor to deliver their Step into Work package for adult learners in Newcastle. The role is site-based, delivering Level 2 qualifications via classroom sessions and tutor-led online learning, with some flexibility around delivery days.

Ideal candidates have recent hospitality industry experience, teaching qualifications, and a passion for helping learners progress into employment or further study.

Qualifications

• 3+ occupational experience within your specialist subject area.
• Hold a Level 3 (or equivalent) withing the relevant subject area
• Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS/CAVA/TAQA etc)
• Ability to travel within your chosen delivery region.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across our Hospitality Suite.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes learner engagement and achievement.
• Assess learner performance and provide relevant underpinning knowledge to ensure learners meet qualification requirements.
• Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression.
• Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to maximise achievement and completion rates.
• Identify and address barriers to learning, providing appropriate support and guidance to learners.
• Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet awarding organisation standards and internal quality requirements.
