Job summary

Learning Curve Group is seeking a Level 2 Freelance Childcare Tutor to deliver high-quality online training for adults pursuing the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People. This 100% online role uses Teams for delivery and may include marking and feedback on learner work.

The role supports learners through flexible, remote delivery, with focus on achievement, progression, and meeting awarding body standards. Association status and DBS checks will apply.

Qualifications

• L3 teaching qualification is the minimum required.
• Level 3 sector qualification is required.
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People is essential.
• Associate tutors are self-employed and must manage tax/NI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across the Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes learner engagement and achievement.
• Assess learner performance and provide relevant underpinning knowledge to ensure learners meet qualification requirements.
• Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression.
• Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to maximise achievement and completion rates.
• Identify and address barriers to learning, providing appropriate support and guidance to learners.
• Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet awarding organisation standards and internal quality requirements.
