Job summary

Middlesbrough College invites applications for a permanent, full-time Catering & Hospitality Tutor in the Adult & Community Learning department. You will deliver practical training, teach accredited qualifications, and help learners overcome barriers to gain employment in catering, hospitality and customer service sectors.

The role requires experience in catering or hospitality, a Level 3 qualification in a related area, and a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience with adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess catering, hospitality and employability training.
• Deliver accredited qualifications including Food Safety & Hygiene and Barista Skills.
• Create inclusive learning environments to motivate learners and improve attendance.
• Assess learner progress through portfolios and practical assessments per awarding body requirements.
• Collaborate with employers to support progression into employment or apprenticeships.
