Job summary

IN2 Marketing and Consulting Sdn Bhd is seeking a Freelance IT Support Specialist to assist end-users across our organization. You will troubleshoot hardware and software on Windows and macOS, install and maintain equipment, and ensure IT systems run smoothly.

You will work with the IT team to address issues, document procedures, and train staff. This freelance role offers flexible engagement and the chance to impact multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a technical support role.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software on Windows and macOS.
• Networking basics: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Hardware knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email and in person.
• Resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and macOS.
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software, networks and peripherals.
• Apply regular security updates to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with IT team to solve complex issues and improve operations.
• Document procedures and develop user manuals and training materials.
• Provide daily operations support and verify hardware/software functionality.
• Train junior staff and test new technology.
• Maintain technical documentation and ticketing records with metrics.
