Create Recruitment Specialists Ltd in London is seeking skilled Gerber Pattern Cutters to join leading luxury fashion labels on a freelance basis. You will create first patterns using the Gerber system, collaborating with designers and seamstresses to ensure garments meet exacting standards.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in producing first patterns, making amendments, and finalising patterns for grading and bulk production, with ability to work from spec comments and fix graded patterns

• Excellent understanding of fit and garment construction from a development and factory perspective.
• Accustomed to tight deadlines and multitasking across changing priorities.
• Flexibility to manage workload at peak times.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Clear and concise communicator.
• Confident in digitising, marker making and laying plans.

Responsabilités

• Create first patterns using the Gerber system alongside designers and seamstresses to ensure garments meet standards.
• Produce first patterns and amend existing patterns as required.
• Work from spec sheet comments and follow through to finalised patterns for grading and bulk production.
• Check and fix graded patterns before sending to manufacturers.
