Job summary

Burberry is seeking an experienced Senior Pattern Cutter to translate ambitious design concepts into technically resolved patterns for Runway, Pre-Collections and Special Projects. You will own styles from development through fittings, applying deep expertise in draping, bias cutting and fabric behaviour to preserve silhouette and proportion.

You will collaborate with Design, Product Development and Atelier teams, sharing knowledge to advance traditional and digital pattern-cutting practices

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in soft-garment pattern cutting, draping and construction.
• Understanding of fit, proportion, balance, body movement and fabric-patter n relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop technically complex patterns for dresses, gowns, skirts, blouses, tops and other soft-sewn garments from sketches, blocks, draped concepts, reference pieces and creative direction.
• Translate design vision into technically resolved garments while preserving silhouette, movement and styling.
• Lead styles through pattern development, toile, fittings and final resolution, addressing technical, fit or fabrication risks.
• Apply advanced draping, bias cutting and soft construction to delicate fabrics.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Atelier teams to ensure exceptional craftsmanship.
• Share specialist knowledge and contribute to evolving pattern-cutting practices.
