Job summary

SumUp Southampton, England, is seeking self-employed Field Sales Partners to build your own business backed by a fintech brand. You will represent SumUp's payments ecosystem and create a recurring income through merchant sign-ups.

This role offers no base salary, with commissions and residuals up to five years; thorough initial training and ongoing coaching, with strong earning potential in a flexible, local territory across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments.
• Ability to build and manage a local sales pipeline.
• Strong objection handling and self-motivated prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Prospect a minimum of 30 local SMEs daily through face‑to‑face visits and outbound outreach.
• Conduct consultative selling by analyzing merchants' payments setups and presenting SumUp's ecosystem.
• Own your territory while planning your sales week and managing CRM.
• Generate 3–5 new merchant partnerships weekly through meaningful conversations.
• Build relationships as the local payments expert in your community.
