Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises across Great Britain. You will work on a flexible freelance basis, managing your own diary and itinerary, with responsibilities including timely reporting and engaging training delivery.

Ideal candidates will have ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR registration, strong communication and report-writing skills, and experience with EV

Qualifications

• Desirable: Accredited as ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Proactive and engaging training style with promotion of positive driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV) with upskill opportunities.
• Professional delivery of safe driving presentations and good report-writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises (category B vehicles, vans).
• Ensure timely completion of accurate assessment reports.
• Manage diary and coordinate with clients for training delivery.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits:

• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
