Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses across Great Britain. You will train on category B vehicles, primarily vans, at client sites with flexible scheduling.

The role offers competitive rates: £105 for half-day sessions and up to £210 for full-day, with occasional weekend work, fuel supplements, 24/7 backup support, and CPD training. Laptop and printing materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Accredited as ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR registration preferred.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience delivering training on electric vehicles is a plus.
• Professional delivery of safe driving presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises (category B vehicles).
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
