Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to cover multiple locations across Great Britain, delivering classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses. You will work with prestigious clients, managing your diary and choosing days you work.

Successful candidates will hold relevant trainer accreditation, promote positive driver behaviours, and may train on electric vehicles. Payments include £105 for half days and up to £210 for full days, with occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV NIR register.
• Proactive, engaging training delivery with emphasis on safe driving behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses including electric vehicle topics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half-day and full-day coaching sessions at client premises (category B vans).
• Complete accurate assessment reports promptly after sessions.
• Present training material using PowerPoint and ensure participant engagement.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
