Base pay range

We're currently looking for freelance Domestic Energy Assessors throughout the U.K. qualified to create Energy Performance Certificates and seeking additional work on an ad hoc basis.

Eligibility criteria

To become a Domestic Energy Assessor Member, no prior experience in the property industry is required. However, applicants must have excellent communication skills, be punctual, reliable, and comfortable working alone. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is essential. You must also provide proof of a recent basic disclosure and barring check (DBS) or Disclosure Scotland certificate, dated within the last three years. To receive invitations for Domestic Energy Assessment appointments, you will need to complete a short online form confirming your Accreditation scheme and Assessor ID.

Payment

Payment is offered at £51.50 per appointment, including lodgement fee, for properties with up to 6 bedrooms. Viewber Members receive email invitations for each appointment and can choose to accept or reject assignments based on their interest.
