Job summary

Thomas Gray Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to oversee up to four live residential developments across Devon and Somerset. This 3-4 month freelance assignment focuses on maintaining progress, safety, quality, and timely delivery across multiple sites.

You will work closely with site teams and senior management to drive programmes, manage subcontractors, and resolve operational issues, ensuring standards meet company and warranty provider requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple live residential developments.
• Strong background in new build housing development programmes.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple new build residential developments.
• Support and manage Site Managers and their teams.
• Monitor build programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and site presentation.
• Identify and resolve operational issues across the developments.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adequate labour and resources.
• Report on progress and areas of concern to senior management.
• Ensure homes are delivered in line with company and warranty provider standards.
