This long-term freelance position involves overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion, supporting the Site Manager in daily operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have experience in site management, strong knowledge of the build process, and hold valid CSCS, SMSTS, and 1st Aid certifications. The role offers a day rate of £240 - £250.

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a developer on a busy residential development in Tonbridge. This is a freelance position.

The Assistant Site Manager will be supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager on site and taking plots from 1st fix to completion.

Responsibilities for Assistant Site Manager:

• Overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion
• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations on site
• Coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to standard
• Ensuring H&S compliance across the site
• Maintaining quality control and ensuring snagging is dealt with efficiently

Requirements for Assistant Site Manager:

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager with a developer
• Strong knowledge of the build process from 1st fix to handover
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades on a fast paced site
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid
