Job summary

Zilch is seeking a Fraud Strategy Manager to own and shape the company’s fraud strategy across multiple lifecycle stages. You will work with Risk, Fraud Ops, Product, Engineering, Data and Compliance to protect the business while maintaining smooth customer journeys.

You will design and evolve controls, monitor fraud trends, and drive data-driven decisions that balance risk with customer experience and commercial outcomes. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role within a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in fraud strategy and financial crime management within fintech, payments, banking, or lending.
• Deep knowledge of application and in-life fraud controls and customer lifecycle risk.
• Experience designing or optimising fraud rules, decisioning and prevention measures.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Zilch’s fraud strategy across application and in-life fraud, balancing protection, experience and commercial performance.
• Design, optimise and monitor fraud controls across the customer lifecycle, scalable and proportionate.
• Lead data-driven insights to inform strategy and prioritisation with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data to implement prevention measures and automated controls.
• Oversee KYC, PEP and sanctions control strategies within the compliance framework.
