Job summary

JD Sports Warehousing Operations in Rochdale is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead the Group Fraud Operations function, protecting the business from fraud across channels and delivering excellent customer outcomes. You will manage a team of Fraud Investigators and Claims Handlers, drive governance, monitor KPIs, and report insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven background in Fraud, Risk, E-commerce Fraud, or Loss Prevention.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Track record of delivering operational improvements and change initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with fraud detection systems.
• SQL knowledge desirable.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and develop individuals and teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Fraud Operations function across channels.
• Protect the business from fraud-related losses with governance and customer outcomes.
• Manage a team of Fraud Investigators and Claims Handlers.
• Monitor KPIs, chargeback/dispute rates, and operational performance.
• Produce performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Drive process improvements to reduce loss and improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and payment providers to strengthen controls.
