Job summary

Keoghs is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our busy Intelligence Team in Bolton. You will analyse claims, research fraud indicators, and prepare professional reports for clients and file handlers. The role involves creating intelligence evidence and delivering briefings to lawyers on findings.

The successful candidate will draft witness statements, utilise IT tools (iBase, i2, Excel) for proactive reports, and mentor junior analysts when needed while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Understanding of legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed.
• Drafting comprehensive and professional reports summarising key issues.
• Basic level of commercial awareness.
• Communication skills – verbal and written.
• Good telephone manner.
• Confidence liaising with clients when presenting a reasoned argument.
• Working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Can work under own initiative and be innovative.

Responsibilities

• Analysing claims files and provide reports and information to Clients and File Handlers as to the outcome of the analysis.
• Using desktop systems to research and locate information that validates or rules out fraud.
• Compiling reports/profiles on individuals involved in suspected fraudulent activity.
• Preparing witness evidence (including statements) for court proceedings where necessary.
• Utilising IT software to produce proactive intelligence reports (e.g. iBase, i2, Excel).
• Delivering structured briefings to lawyers and clients on key facts.
• Preparing risk assessment reports related to Insurance Fraud.
• Producing reports/briefings in line with the National Intelligence Model.
• Mentoring Trainee analysts when appropriate.
• Achieving a daily chargeable target.
