Job summary

Cubic Corporation in Salfords, Surrey seeks a Fraud and Applications Support Analyst for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role covers 2nd line technical support across 20+ applications, database systems, and incident resolution, with a focus on identifying and reducing fraud while maintaining SLA deliverables.

The candidate should have solid experience with RDBMS (Oracle/MS SQL), MS Office, and knowledge of fraud prevention practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BSc in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle or MS SQL).
• Experience in fraud or application support environments.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Access/Outlook/Word).
• Experience with remote teams and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide second line application support across multiple systems.
• Perform system administration, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and escalate where required.
• Develop fraud reports and review transactions for fraud indicators.
• Prepare SLA reports and coordinate problem management outputs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to prevent fraud.
