Job summary

Unilever Fragrance House at Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, seeks a temporary Laboratory Sample Prep Assistant for 6 months. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week), based on-site, with duties to prepare samples for the fragrance R&D teams.

You will operate in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment, maintaining safety standards and timely delivery. Ideal candidates have a science background (A-Level/GCSE) and a practical touch for laboratory sample preparation, with strong teamwork and

Qualifications

• Science background preferred; GCSE-level or A-Level considered.
• Experience in handling laboratory samples and following SOPs is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples across all business groups (Homecare; Beauty and Wellbeing and Personal Care).
• Record all laboratory work accurately.
• Safely handle and label all products.
• Work closely with laboratory team to ensure timely sample preparation.
• Keep equipment and laboratory areas clean and compliant with safety procedures.
• Adhere to safety, risk assessments and lab management procedures.
