Job summary

Beynd in the United Kingdom (Remote) is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support new business growth across the UK & Ireland. You will partner with Account Executives to translate complex FP&A, CPM and EPM challenges into compelling demonstrations and tailored solutions.

You will engage CFOs and FP&A leaders, deliver workshops and executive presentations, and guide customers from discovery through proposals, ensuring a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a Sales Engineering, Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting role.
• Experience working with FP&A, CPM, EPM or other financial performance management solutions.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting and financial consolidation processes.
• Experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs and Finance Directors.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how pre- Sales supports revenue generation.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, requirements and business objectives.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops and executive presentations.
• Translate complex finance and operational challenges into tailored solution designs.
• Demonstrate how modern FP&A technology can improve planning, forecasting, reporting and decision-making.
• Develop and present customised solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, Finance Directors and FP&A leaders.
• Support every stage of the sales cycle, from qualification through to proposal development and contract negotiations.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs while contributing to written proposals and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Professional Services and Customer Success teams to deliver an exceptional buying experience.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing insight into industry best practices and financial transformation initiatives.
