Job summary

Yorkshire Housing seeks a forward-thinking Finance leader to head the Finance Business Partnering team, driving change as we implement a new finance system and expand self-service across the function.

You will build strong relationships, enable commercial insight for leaders, and champion smarter ways of working in a flexible, agile environment with Leeds-based collaboration and remote working options.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Track record of leading teams through change and embedding new ways of working.
• Strong commercial awareness with strategic thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, translating financial information into clear insight.
• Experience in business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement, innovation and smarter ways of working.
• Experience building partnerships across an organisation and increasing the visibility and impact of finance.
• Ability to utilise technology and data to improve processes, insight and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Business Partners and Analysts to provide strategic financial support.
