Job Summary

We're seeking a talented and highly motivated FP&A Manager for maternity cover who will take charge and business partner SailGP’s audience growth departments. The successful individual will have strong analytical and technology skills and an ability to think outside the box to solve the financial challenges facing this young company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for experience in a company creating disruption in the entertainment sports industry in a fast-paced environment and with a highly motivated group of individuals. The role is a maternity cover for a term of 15 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management and business partner key departments of SailGP including broadcast & content, commercial partnerships, marketing & communications and other support departments.
• Duties include monthly reporting, financial analysis, supporting commercial decision making with financial models and business partnering with key departments.
• Development and ownership of SailGP Productions P&L to support commercial strategy across broadcast, content and digital departments to support growth ambitions and KPI/ROI analysis.
• Ownership of SailGP Productions cost base supporting business partners track to budget.
• Coordinate and prepare Group monthly management reporting with inputs from other finance business partners.
• Contribution to month end balance sheet reporting and accruals process for respective departments.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts for key business partnering departments.
• Reporting into SailGP Management including support of Board Level reports.
• Adhoc requests that come up from time to time to support the finance function.

Background

• ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualification preferable
• Ability to learn and use management information systems, experience with Netsuite preferable
• 2+ years post qualification experience in management accounting, financial accounting and budgeting
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction and multi-currency would be an asset
• Proven experience managing the budget process, reporting on variances and cost mitigation is required
