Job summary

Baker Hughes offers a 12-month FP&A internship designed for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in Finance. You will work on SG&A and cost analysis, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and prepare financial reports to support business decisions.

You will be mentored by a manager and buddy and gain exposure to global finance processes, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a strong analytical focus.
• GPA requirement: 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK without company sponsorship or time restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver business outcomes and identify process improvements.
• Learn internal software and tools to support analysis, reporting, and project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to network with global business leaders.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Support SG&A and functional cost analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards to provide timely insights to stakeholders.
• Support cost governance activities and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Utilize Excel and Power BI to perform analysis and reporting tasks.
