Job summary

Baker Hughes offers a 12-month Digitisation Intern role in the UK focused on data analytics, Power BI reports, and Power Apps. You will prepare and refresh source data, support stakeholder requirements, and develop practical data processing and reporting skills.

You will be mentored by a buddy and manager, gain exposure to HS&E, and contribute to data improvement projects while building professional experience in a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed studies in a data/analytics related field.
• Basic understanding of data preparation, data validation, data processing, and reporting concepts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, maintaining, and refreshing source data used in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Performing basic validation checks and highlighting missing, inconsistent, or unusual data for review.
• Attending meetings with report stakeholders to understand reporting needs, document requirements, and gather feedback during testing and user validation.
• Supporting improvements to existing Data Analysis Power Apps solutions and learning related features and development practices.
• Tracking Power Apps enhancement requests and supporting testing, feedback, and progress follow-up.
• Participating in small software enhancement activities including documentation, testing, and implementation support.
• Providing data control support for non-certified activities and administrative processes.
• Developing knowledge of data preparation, processing, reporting tools and related software.
• Maintaining clear documentation for data sources, refresh steps, requirements, testing results, and system changes.
• Working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, communicating progress and raising blockers promptly.
