Job summary

Broster Buchanan in Northampton is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Commercial Finance team. You will work across FP&A, commercial analysis, strategic modelling and M&A, providing insights to support performance and decision-making.

You'll partner with Finance leadership and senior stakeholders, lead budgets and forecasts, build robust models, and contribute to board reporting. A hybrid Northampton role with clear progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Able to translate complex data into clear commercial insight.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive with ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Prepare monthly board reporting with clear commercial commentary.
• Build financial models, scenarios and sensitivity analyses.
• Support strategic planning and modelling across the business.
• Collaborate with M&A on acquisitions and due diligence.
• Incorporate acquisitions into forecasts post‑acquisition.
• Develop and improve management reporting and financial models.
• Use Excel and data visualisation to turn data into insights.
