Job summary

SGN is seeking a proactive finance professional to turn complex data into meaningful business insight and influence stakeholders across the group. You will own monthly performance reporting, provide KPI analysis, and deliver actionable recommendations to support decision-making.

The role focuses on partnering with Finance Business Partners and operational teams, performing variance analyses, and enhancing forecasting accuracy through data-driven modelling. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA) with a relevant degree or equivalent.
• Strong financial analysis and ability to translate data into business insight.
• Advanced Excel skills for large datasets and reporting.
• Experience in finance, audit, or analytics in large corporate or consultancy contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with influence.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with strategic insight.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly performance reporting with KPI analysis and executive commentary.
• Partner with Finance BPs and operational stakeholders to understand performance.
• Deliver variance analysis across actuals, budgets and forecasts.
• Use data and modelling to generate insights and improve forecast accuracy.
• Review and enhance reporting processes and tools.
• Provide robust financial analysis for projects with clear recommendations.
