thinkproject! GmbH is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team in Reading, UK. You will support group reporting, budgeting and forecasting, turning financial and operational data into clear insights and robust analysis.

You will build dashboards, perform financial modelling and deliver actionable recommendations to management, reporting to the Corporate FP&A Lead. Hybrid working and cross-functional collaboration are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent with post qualification experience.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar analytical role in high growth tech environments, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Proven experience in SaaS business models and metrics.
• Advanced financial modelling skills: P&L, cash flow, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and business case modelling.
• Strong understanding of core finance concepts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, accruals and financial reporting.
• High proficiency with financial systems and data.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented; able to navigate complex datasets and reconcile to source-of-truth systems.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to present complex analysis concisely.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset; thrives in ambiguity and builds structure in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting with clear commentary on drivers and trends.
• Build, maintain and improve reporting, dashboards and KPIs for financial and commercial performance.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate data into insights.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to understand performance and support decision-making.
• Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate performance and inform decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning and forecasting processes and data quality.
