Job summary

Forge Talent is partnering with an established supply chain business to strengthen its finance team. A commercially minded FP&A Analyst will join the finance function and work closely with internal teams to drive performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.

The role covers modelling, scenario planning and KPI development, turning data into actionable insight to support strategic commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Supporting budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial planning.
• Analyzing performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and trends.
• Building financial models and supporting scenario planning.
• Providing commercial insight across revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
• Partnering with internal teams as a finance business partner.
• Developing KPIs, dashboards and reporting to improve visibility of performance.
• Working with large datasets to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Presenting clear, actionable analysis to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Challenging assumptions to help stakeholders make data-led decisions.
