Job summary

Forge Talent is partnering with an established supply chain business to strengthen its finance team. A commercially minded FP&A Analyst will join the finance function and work closely with internal teams to drive performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.

The role covers modelling, scenario planning and KPI development, turning data into actionable insight to support strategic commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools.

They're looking for a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join the finance team, partnering closely with one of the organisation’s internal teams.

This is a varied role covering budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis and business partnering. You’ll use financial and operational data to understand performance, identify trends and provide insight that helps shape key business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial planning

We’re looking for someone with experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or data analytics, with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding what drives business performance. You’ll need strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience using data and reporting tools.

Most importantly, you’ll be commercially curious, confident working with stakeholders and able to turn complex data into clear, practical insight.
