Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operative in Doncaster, a role that involves hands-on work in a growing engineering and manufacturing environment. You will work with steel components, paint and finish parts, and support production activities while adhering to health and safety requirements.

The position offers a four-day week (Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm) with weekly pay and potential for progression.

Qualifications

Comfortable in a manufacturing workshop.
Physically capable of manual handling.
Willing to perform spray painting and grinding duties safely.
Reliable and punctual.
Aware of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Safely lift, carry and move steel components and finished products.
Carry out basic spray painting duties, including surface preparation and applying coatings as instructed.
Perform grinding, fettling, deburring and surface preparation using hand and power tools.
Support general production activities including packing, labelling and basic assembly.
Carry out basic visual quality inspections and report any defects.
Follow work instructions and health & safety procedures at all times.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards throughout the workshop.
Wear PPE including safety boots, gloves, eye and hearing protection, and respirators where required.
Work towards daily production targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
