The role involves operating plant machinery to meet exact production standards, performing in-process quality checks, and handling raw materials. You’ll package and dispatch finished products and assist with maintenance while following strict HSE and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant or production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and solid numerical skills.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and reliable.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Forklift truck licence and/or basic lab testing skills (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant machinery to manufacture products to production standards.
• Perform in-process quality checks and basic lab testing (e.g., pH, viscosity).
• Receive, check and store raw materials correctly.
• Package and dispatch finished products to customer specifications.
• Maintain site organisation and assist with maintenance as required.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
