Travail-Employment-Group in Sheffield is recruiting a Foundry Operative on a permanent basis to support demand in production. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will handle loading/unloading furnaces and operate production equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,256 per year plus a quarterly bonus, with rotating days and nights. Additional benefits include free car parking, 28 days' holiday, overtime rates, full training, and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Foundry Operative or in related roles such as Rolling Mill Operator, Grinder, Fettler, or Team Worker.
• Experience with loading/unloading furnaces and operating production equipment.
• Ability to follow production schedules and maintain daily output targets.
• Willingness to work rotating days and nights.

£30,256 p/a plus quarterly bonus, Sheffield, Permanent, Days, Mon – Thurs Days and Nights rotation, Immediate Start, Free car parking, Weekly Pay, 28 days paid annual leave (increasing after time), premium overtime rates x1.5 midweek and Saturday and x2 Sunday, benefit of working for a worldwide engineering business.

We have an excellent opportunity for you to work for a worldwide engineering provider at one of their Sheffield based sites. They are looking to recruit for a Foundry Operative on a permanent basis to help support the increased demand in production. Reporting to the Shift Manager, day to day duties will include;

• Loading and unloading furnaces safely and efficiently
• Operating and monitoring industrial machinery and production equipment
• Moving and positioning steel using FLT (Forklift Truck) and overhead cranes
• Operating saws and cutting equipment in line with production requirements
• Carrying out routine checks on machinery and reporting faults or issuesEnsuring materials are correctly positioned and prepared for the next stage of production
• Following production schedules and meeting daily output targets
• Completing shift paperwork, production records and relevant documentation accurately
