Travail-Employment-Group in Sheffield is recruiting a Foundry Operative on a permanent basis to support demand in production. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will handle loading/unloading furnaces and operate production equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,256 per year plus a quarterly bonus, with rotating days and nights. Additional benefits include free car parking, 28 days' holiday, overtime rates, full training, and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Foundry Operative or in related roles such as Rolling Mill Operator, Grinder, Fettler, or Team Worker.
• Experience with loading/unloading furnaces and operating production equipment.
• Ability to follow production schedules and maintain daily output targets.
• Willingness to work rotating days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Operating and monitoring industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Moving and positioning steel using FLT (Forklift Truck) and overhead cranes.
• Operating saws and cutting equipment.
• Carrying out routine checks and reporting faults.
• Completing shift paperwork and production records.
