Job summary

Masstemps Ltd is seeking a Foundry Operative to join our team in a busy industrial setting. You will dress and finish castings, handle grinding and linishing, and learn to remove excess material to achieve the required finish.

Previous foundry experience is not required as full training will be provided. The role involves working with heavy materials, using hand and power tools, and staying safe in a hot, noisy and dirty workplace alongside a dedicated team.

Foundry Operative

Working Hours:

• Monday – Wednesday: 06:00 – 16:30
• Thursday: 06:00 – 15:30
• Friday: Non-working day

The Role

We are looking for a Foundry Operative to join our team. Previous foundry experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, practical, and comfortable working in a dirty and industrial environment. You should have experience working with heavy materials and be confident using a range of hand and power tools.

The role will involve dressing and finishing castings, including grinding, linishing and removing excess material to achieve the required finish.
