Job summary

The Recruitment Group is recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established foundry in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided.

Role includes casting metal components, operating machinery, handling materials, and inspecting products to meet quality standards. Training on days (07:30-16:00, Mon-Fri) at £12.71 per hour; after training, night shift pattern

FOUNDRY OPERATIVES - LEICESTER

The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established foundry based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are looking to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided.

No previous foundry experience? No problem! If you have a good work ethic, a positive attitude and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you!

The Role

As a Foundry Operative, your duties may include:

• Assisting with the production and casting of metal components.
• Operating machinery and equipment safely.
• Handling and moving materials within the foundry.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

Working Hours

Training Shift - Days

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 - 16:00
• £12.71 per hour
• Once Fully Trained - Night Shift

Monday to Thursday

• 18:00 - 06:00
• Please note: You will initially be required to train on day shifts before moving onto the permanent night shift pattern.
