Job summary

Masstemps Ltd is seeking a Foundry Operative to join our team in a busy industrial setting. You will dress and finish castings, handle grinding and linishing, and learn to remove excess material to achieve the required finish.

Previous foundry experience is not required as full training will be provided. The role involves working with heavy materials, using hand and power tools, and staying safe in a hot, noisy and dirty workplace alongside a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Dressing and finishing metal castings.
• Grinding and linishing castings using hand and power tools.
• Removing excess metal and imperfections from castings.
• Lifting and moving heavy items safely.
• Working in a hot, noisy and dirty industrial environment.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
• Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.
