Job summary

Appfactor is seeking a Solutions Engineer to build the function from the ground up. This role will involve leading technical sales processes, creating playbooks, and evangelizing our platform to enterprise customers. Candidates should have at least 3 years in technical consulting, with a strong development background in technologies like Java or .NET, and experience in cloud-native architectures.

This is a remote-first role ideally suited for those located in the London area with a passion for transforming enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions Engineering or Technical Consulting roles.
• 7+ years of experience in Java, .NET, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in evaluating application architectures and enterprise environments.
• Experience leading RFI and RFP responses.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and training.
• Experience in early-stage B2B SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Build the Solutions Engineering function from scratch.
• Lead technical sales from initial contact to signed deal.
• Translate platform capabilities into customer outcomes.
• Represent AppFactor at enablement sessions and partner talks.
• Feed customer insights back into Product and Customer Success.
