Job summary

General Intelligence Infrastructure is seeking a Founding Head of Power Development — Grid & Data Centre to lead the technical path from initial site potential to documented capacity and actionable capital plan.

You will assess industrial sites, review connection agreements, substation and HV infrastructure, engage with DNOs, utilities, and consultants, and help define the Time-to-Compute methodology while building Europe's power-development capability.

Qualifications

• Ideal background includes senior grid/HV infrastructure experience.
• Experience with UK grid operations and processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess industrial sites for genuine power potential.
• Review connection agreements, single-line diagrams, and utility correspondence.
• Understand current and potential import capacity and HV infrastructure.
• Engage with DNOs, NESO, utilities and consultants.
• Define realistic time-to-power and capital requirements.
• Identify grid risks before capital is committed.
• Help define site-scoring and Time-to-Compute methodology.
• Collaborate with owners, data-centre developers and project-capital partners.
