Job summary

Jobs4 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Founding Engineer) for a hybrid London role with £100,000+ equity. You will own critical software across mobile, cloud, and device connectivity, helping shape long-term software strategy and engineering function.

You will work across iOS/Android, BLE, and AWS, collaborating with senior stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. Equity and growth opportunities are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production software.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connected devices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, infrastructure, authentication, and data systems.
• Full stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance product experiences.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with high ownership.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and optimise BLE connectivity between devices and applications.
• Design and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure and backend services.
• Create scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Support integration of AI-driven functionality into customer-facing products.
• Own software quality, observability, deployment, and release processes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the software function as the business scales.
