Job summary

Harnham in London is seeking an engineer to join as an early full-stack/mobile hire, offering significant ownership across the platform. The role is hybrid, based near Waterloo/London Bridge, with equity and a path to leadership as the product scales.

You will work across cloud, mobile, and connected-device tech, shaping architecture, delivering backend services, and delivering mobile apps while collaborating with founders, product and design teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack or Mobile Engineer.
• Experience shipping mobile apps.
• Cloud engineering experience, ideally AWS.
• Startup or high-growth experience.
• Operate across frontend, backend, and infra.
• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker and GitHub.
• Exposure to React Native is beneficial.
• Experience with Bluetooth / IoT is advantageous.
• Passion for engineering and product development.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop cloud backend services and infrastructure.
• Build and ship mobile applications.
• Work across frontend, backend, and infra.
• Support Bluetooth connectivity and device communications.
• Help bring software development in-house.
• Collaborate with founders, product and design teams.
• Contribute to architecture, scalability and engineering best practices.
