Job summary

Dex is seeking an early engineering hire to lead AI-powered feature development on a creator-operating platform. You will own features end-to-end from concept to deployment, shipping daily based on user feedback and impacting hundreds of thousands of creators.

You will design, build, and ship agentic solutions using Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, and AWS, and routinely work with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience at a product-driven company.
• Proven experience shipping agentic or AI-powered features in production.
• Full-stack fluency: Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS.
• Daily proficiency with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex).
• A builder's mindset: thrive on ambiguity and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship agentic and AI-powered features, taking them from vague briefs to production.
• Engage directly with content creators to understand needs, then rapidly prototype and deploy solutions.
• Own significant product areas end-to-end, from ideation through to deployment and iteration.
• Operate in a high-leverage environment, using modern AI coding tools daily.
• Contribute across the full stack, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for a platform serving hundreds of thousands of users.
