First Engineer, AI-First Creator Platform (London)

A bootstrapped, profitable creator platform is hiring its first engineer. The company helps creators launch branded membership products, content hosting, payments, growth tools, and AI features tailored to their vertical. Revenue has tripled in recent months, all without external funding.

The team is two founders and a growth hire. The incoming engineer works directly alongside the technical co‑founder and leads on the agentic and AI-powered side of the product, where most of the new work sits. They'll own areas end to end, talk directly with creators, and ship to hundreds of thousands of users.

The stack:

Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS.

The right person has:

• 3+ years at a strong, product‑driven company
• Shipped agentic or AI‑powered features in production
• Full‑stack fluency and heavy day‑to‑day use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or similar)
• Strong judgement about what to do well versus what to do fast

As a person, they:

• Get their thrill from what they can build, not what code they can write
• Are obsessed with AI and want to be at the cutting edge of building on LLMs
• Have a good eye for design and can hold their own in product conversations
• Want to work in a small, scrappy team where things ship fast

Comp:

£90,000 – £110,000 + bonuses. 25 days holiday. 4 days a week in a London office (Peckham).
