Job summary

Corellia Talent in London is helping a growing AI startup hire founding engineers who want to shape a company, not just join an engineering team. You’ll build AI agents for large enterprise workflows and own meaningful parts of the product from day one.

You’ll work hybrid in London, collaborating with founders and customers, shipping production code, and making high-impact technical decisions. Founding equity is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong CS background and hands-on engineering ability.
• Demonstrated history shipping real software owned by the engineer.
• Excellent judgement and product sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Understand enterprise problems and convert them into working software quickly.
• Build and ship production code across core platform, AI agents, integrations and customer-facing apps.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements, decisions, to testing, deployment and iteration.
• Help decide what gets built and where opportunities lie.
• Split time between building and direct customer work.

The mission

A London AI startup is building AI agents for some of the largest enterprises in a major traditional industry, automating high-value commercial workflows that are still largely manual today. The business already has strong revenue and enterprise customers, and it's hiring Founding Engineers who want to help build the company, not just join an engineering team.

What you'll do

• Work with enterprise customers to understand their problems, then turn them into working software fast
• Build and ship production code across the core platform, AI agents, integrations and customer-facing apps
• Own work end to end, from requirements and technical decisions through to testing, deployment and iteration
• Help decide what gets built and where the biggest opportunities are
• Split your time between building and working directly with customers

What they're looking for

• An exceptional engineer who thinks like a founder
• A strong Computer Science background (degree or equivalent)
• Excellent hands-on engineering and sound technical judgement
• A track record of shipping real software that you personally owned
• Strong product instincts, high agency and a bias to action
• Especially interesting: founding engineers, technical co-founders, and engineers who've built products from scratch or owned major products at startups
• AI/LLM or enterprise deployment experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Real ownership in a small team, working directly with the founders
• Commercial exposure to major enterprise customers
• A business with traction, at an early enough stage to shape it
• Competitive salary plus founding-level equity
