Job summary

Qubitra is a fast-growing startup blending quantum computing with financial services. We’re seeking an operations-focused teammate to help run the company OS, onboarding/off-boarding, forecasting, planning, and supplier/system upkeep.

You will work directly with the COO, gaining exposure to nearly every function, and will turn routine tasks into repeatable processes while keeping deadlines visible for leadership.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in operations, analyst, coordination, or business-support roles, or an outstanding graduate.
• Strong organisational skills with clear tracking of obligations.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and quick to learn new systems.
• Familiarity with Notion and Claude as operational tools.
• Clear, professional written communication with senior stakeholders.
• Sound judgement about confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Run operational logistics end to end.
• Support day-to-day finance operations: invoicing, client statements, payment chasing, and coordinating with bookkeepers.
• Compile inputs for management accounts, KPI reporting, and board materials.
• Document processes and convert repeated tasks into repeatable workflows.
• Maintain visible actions, owners, and deadlines across the leadership team.
• Take on project work from the COO as it arises.

About The Role

This is the role you take when you want to learn how a company actually gets built, not the version in the deck, the version with the processes, the client and supplier contracts and the board and investor packs that have to be right.

You will take on the operational work that currently runs through our COO: onboarding, off-boarding, forecasting, planning, keeping suppliers and systems in order, and improving and managing the company OS. You will work directly with them, and you will see (almost) everything.

Key Responsibilities

• Run operational logistics end to end.
• Support day-to-day finance operations: raising invoices, client statements, chasing payment, and coordinating with our bookkeepers.
• Assemble the inputs behind management accounts, KPI reporting and board materials.
• Document how we do things, and turn anything we do twice into a repeatable process.
• Keep actions, owners and deadlines visible across the leadership team.
• Take on project work directly from the COO as it comes up, which it will, constantly.

Required Experience

• Roughly two to three years in an operations, analyst, coordination or business-support role, or an outstanding graduate who can show equivalent drive.
• Genuinely strong organisation. We will ask how you track what you owe people, and we mean it.
• Confident with spreadsheets and quick to pick up new systems.
• Knowledge of Notion and Claude.
• Clear, professional written communication with people senior to you and outside the company.
• Sound judgement about confidentiality.

Ideal Experience

• Exposure to finance operations, bookkeeping or invoicing.

Startup Or Small-company Experience.

• Interest in financial services, technology, or both.
• Comfort using AI tools to work faster.
