Torfaen County Borough Council in Pontypool is recruiting a Foundational Economy Project Officer on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027. The role will support foundational economy businesses and entrepreneurs by providing access to peer networks, mentoring, and targeted business support.

You will administer a programme of small business grants and collaborate with partners and the Foundational Economy Team to deliver projects that anchor companies in town centres and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business support and mentoring.
• Experience collaborating with partners and stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Welsh language skills desirable for this post.

Responsabilités

• Support foundational economy businesses and entrepreneurs to access peer networks, mentoring, business support, training and skills.
• Administer a programme of small business grants to eligible businesses.
• Support the wider Foundational Economy Team and SPF projects as needed.
• Contribute to delivering Torfaen’s vision for a thriving Foundational Economy.
