Qualifications

• Experience of partnership working and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong financial management and accountability experience, including commissioning and procurement.
• Comfort with new technology and excellent digital skills.
• Experience in leading and motivating staff and managing resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial planning, co-ordination and management of a range of grants.
• Assist with financial management of the Local Growth Fund in line with UK Government and local requirements.
• Ensure funding is maximised and targeted toward priority schemes for Cardiff.
• Develop and maintain effective joint working arrangements with managers across services and partners.
• Assist in operational planning and implementation of key work programmes supporting the Council’s Corporate plan.
