Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a proactive Project Delivery Officer to support business growth and skills initiatives across Bromsgrove and Redditch. You will help deliver programmes that boost local employment and strengthen the economy.

The role requires strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with experience in funding applications and working with diverse partners across public, private and voluntary sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting or delivering economic development, business support, employability or skills-related projects.
• Knowledge of business support, economic growth and skills programmes.
• Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes.
• Experience of preparing funding applications or securing external funding.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects, programmes and initiatives promoting business growth.
• Build relationships with local employers, education providers and partners.
• Assist in development of bids, proposals and business cases to attract investment into business and skills programmes.
• Monitor project performance and evaluate outcomes to ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits for businesses and residents.
• Support events, workshops and promotional activity that engage businesses and encourage participation in local growth and skills opportunities.
• Produce reports, briefings and performance information for senior managers, elected Members and funding bodies.
